RARE UK DOG ART CIGARETTE / TOBACCO / TRADE CARD, COLLECTIBLE, UK. Original 1924 Moustafa Cigarettes Dog Card, One of a Series of 40 Dog Head Art Studies by Leo Chambers. Each card is sold individually, Very Good plus condition, with minor edge wear, possible minor soil due to age and handling, minor rounding of corners, but overall VERY GOOD PLUS condition with no creases, no marks on front or back, type on back printed very slightly crooked or “off square”. Artwork of the dogs is vertical in format, a head study with great expression, and a solid colored background, typical of portrait painting. Reverse side of all cards printed with breed details. Leo Chambers artwork makes this of absolutely framable quality, one of the finest canine artists of the time! Size of the card is 1.4″ wide by 2.65″ high. Artwork with a fine black border is 1.25″ wide by 2.35″ high. One only!!

He is a splendid companion and house dog. He is scrupulously clean and very courageous. He has a heavy, lion-like head, prick ears, and tiny inset eyes. Coat long and fur-like, and he carries his tail flat on his back.

Condition Grading (Worldwide!) is typically as follows:
Mint: Almost as good as new; entirely un-blemished.
Excellent: As good as could be expected: cards clean with a minimum of damage, sharp corners and edges.
V. Good: Slight damage only. Corners not creased but may have slightly rounded corners, some light soiling possible especially to end cards.
Good: Some damage or soiling, includes corner damage, damage from adhesive backs, grubby backs.
Fair: Card may be damaged by creases, folds, crack or dirty mark.
Poor: Card with a number of the above faults.
